Not everybody grew up the same way or experienced the same things, which is why it is very important to listen to other people's stories. This week the audience will hear someone else's story other than Destiny's. Please have your tissues ready and be ready to laugh a little. We are going to explore someone else's life and make a declaration for the month of June.

Last week, we discussed reasons why we do not want to tell others why we are upset and this week, Destiny discusses new ways of verbally expressing our emotions when we are angry. We can get so upset that we are unable to respond to those that may be asking what is going on and we need to change that.

S1 Ep. 13: I’m Okay

There are times we get upset and we have trouble expressing our feelings to those who care about us. Destiny discusses why she may not tell others why we are upset or frustrated. She gives “10 reasons Why I Don’t Want to Tell You Why I’m Mad”. She encourages others to normalize expressing your feelings when in a negative state, especially when our unpleasant attitude may affect those around us

S 1 Ep.12- You Ready to Come Over Here (Ft. Annielle Timmons)

Part of the "destined life" is connecting with others. Whether through school, work, church, family etc. Relationships of all kinds can be complicated. In this episode  the host Destiny will talk about finding friends and dating as a Christian with guest Annielle Timmons. It will discuss having standards when letting new people in your life. Finding friends and dating can be hard especially for those who have been hurt by relationships in the past.

S1 Ep 11- His House or My House ft. Johnathan Lingo

Church has changed a lot within the past year due to Covid restrictions. It has been hard for ministry workers to adapt to the changes. Destiny talks with Johnathan about the changes made to church since the pandemic. Johnathan and Destiny talk about their love for the ministry and how it affected them. Johnathan gives advice to churches on how to be more impactful during this time.

Destiny is out here looking like a clown trying to juggle all the responsibilities of life. She is trying to understand how to balance everything and give each area of her life equal attention and care, but she ends up stressed and burned out. In this episode Destiny discusses her new revelations about God, life, and how to balance everything and not leave certain things behind.

S1 Ep.9- Adult-ish: Oh So You Got Money ft.Temia Brinson (Pt.5)

Destiny has her own money, but why is she in trouble every time she has emergency expenses. Hmm....not okay. Temia joins Destiny in part 4 of this series "Adult-ish" to help her understand how to save and be ready for any financial situations that may come her way. During this interview, Temia explains how to save like a true adult and avoid childish spending.

Oh So You Grown Now ft. Donarah Sheppard (Pt.4)

Destiny wants to know more about how to achieve mental and spiritual independence as an adult. For part 4 of the series "Adult-ish" she is joined by Donarah who has more experience as an adult and can help Destiny understand the true meaning of adulthood. In this episode, Donarah drops some knowledge on how to become mentally healthy and not be dependent on others for happiness and validation. She gives some of her real life experiences and turning points of when she transitioned to an adult.

Destiny talks about her desired financial life as an adult. In part one of this series, "Adult-ish", she gives her definition of an adult and it included  financial independence. In this episode, part 3, Destiny explains what she thinks that is and why she believes an adult should be financially independent. Destiny talks about her failures with money and how it opened her eyes to the fact that she is now an adult.

This episode is part 2 of the “Adult-ish” series and Destiny talks about how a part of being an adult is spiritual independence. She explains how there are times we can be lazy and dependent on others for our knowledge of God.
